Michael Anthony Forte

On Saturday, October 19, 2019, Michael Anthony Forté, beloved son and brother, passed away at the age of 62. Michael was born in 1957 in Queens, NY to Elva (Pereira) and Anthony Forté (now deceased) and grew up in Uniondale, NY. Michael graduated from Uniondale High School in 1975, Nassau Community College in 1978, and the New York Institute of Technology in 1980 where he earned a Bachelor in Fine Arts (BFA).

Self-employed and working predominantly in Smart Home and Business Audiovisual, Michael was passionate about technology and how things worked. He had a big heart and an inquiring mind, always thinking and wanting to help others.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Anthony. He is survived by his mother, Elva, siblings Joseph (Kerry), Wayne, and Cynthia (Bill), nieces and nephews Alexandra (Chris), Miranda, Michael (Jane), and Alan, former sister-in-law Rosie, aunts and uncle, and many cousins both near and far. In addition, he leaves behind his fiancé Jennifer and others who will miss him deeply including numerous friends and clients, some who knew him for many years.
