Michael G Hughes born in Dublin, Ireland residing in Oceanside, New York passed away on March 1, 2024 at the age of 66. He is the son of Kathleen and Joseph Hughes, loving husband to Eileen Hughes (nee Crimmins), devoted dad to Colleen (Stephen Spatenga Jr), Jennifer and Michael (Jessica) and adoring and affectionate Pop Pop to Stephen III, Arianna, Lucas and Gabriella. Michael is also survived by his sister Marie Gill and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, March 4th from 5 - 9PM and Tuesday, March 5th from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9PM at Towers Funeral Home Inc., 2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:45 am on Wednesday, March 6th at St. Anthony's RC Church, 110 Anchor Ave, Oceanside, NY. Burial will be in Holy Rood Cemetery, Old Country Rd. Westbury on Wednesday, March 6th at 11:15am.
