Michael Lee Crafa
Michael L. Crafa of Long Beach, age 40, died on May 13, 2015 of a broken heart. Born on January 25, 1975 in Oceanside, N.Y. Beloved son of Cynthia and Rodrigo M. Crafa. Devoted brother and best friend of Michelle Crafa-Ewulu and Patrick Crafa. Cherished Uncle of Chika (C.J.), Emeka, Gabriella, Maria, Olivia, and Gianluca. Dearest grandson of Harvey Crosby. Reposing at Towers Funeral Home, 2681 Long Beach Road, Oceanside NY. Visitation Saturday and Sunday, May 16 and May 17, 2015, 2pm – 4pm and 7pm – 9pm. Mass of Christian burial Monday, May 18, 2015 at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, West Hempstead N.Y. Internment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY. Michael was an avid sports fan, Jets and Rangers, a lifelong soccer player (#5 a member of the Oceanside United Soccer, Long Island Select, State team of NY), a renowned sommelier, and most of all a prince among gentlemen.
