Nicholas Romanello
Nicholas Romanello, age 87, of Oceanside died Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at home in Oceanside. Mr. Romanello was born July 29, 1927 in Corona, NY. He is the son of the late John and the late Frances (Gangemi) Romanello.
He served in the Army during World War II from 1945 to 1949. He was employed by NYS Dept. Of Parks & Recreation, Jones Beach as a Parks Supervisor.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am on Monday, May 4 at St Anthonys RC Church, 110 Anchor Ave, Oceanside, NY. Entombment will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn on Monday, May 4 at 12:15 pm.
Calling hours will be Sunday, May 3 from 2-4 & 7-9 at Towers Funeral Home Inc., 2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY.
