Owen Dunford

Owen Dunford, age 97, of Westbury, NY, died Saturday, October 8, 2016 in Amityville, NY. Mr. Dunford was born in Greenwich, CT. He served in the Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Ethel (Diamond) Dunford.. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, October 13th from 2-4 & 7-9 at Towers Funeral Home Inc., 2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY. A private cremation will take place on Friday, October 14th. A graveside service with military honors will be held at the LI National Cemetery, in Pinelawn, NY. The date for the service is yet to be determined, and will be announced once scheduled.
