Patrick Arcese

Patrick Arcese, born on October 22, 1958, in Queens, New York, passed away on January 7, 2026. He lived most of his life in Long Beach, NY, where he built a life rooted in hard work, loyalty, and deep love for family and friends.

Patrick was the beloved son of Mary and Joseph Arcese. He was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Arcese and is survived by his loving siblings Donna, Lucy, Tommy, and Amelia, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond. After the passing of his father, Patrick stepped into the role of protector and caretaker, becoming a guiding force for his sisters and siblings. He could solve any problem they faced and was always there when he was needed.

A proud union carpenter, Patrick was known for his strong work ethic and generous heart. He was always helping others, never hesitating to lend a hand, share advice, or fix what was broken. His kindness extended far beyond his family—he was a friend to many and truly loved by all who knew him.

Patrick had a deep love for horses and horse racing, finding joy in watching the races. He was also passionate about coin collecting and trading, a hobby that reflected his curiosity and appreciation for history. Above all, he loved telling stories and making people laugh, lighting up any room with his humor and warmth.

He was a devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews, always willing to help, guide, or simply show up with love and support. His generosity knew no limits.

Patrick also gave back to his community, volunteering as part of the 9/11 cleanup crew, a testament to his selflessness and courage.

Patrick Arcese leaves behind a legacy of laughter, strength, compassion, and unwavering devotion to family. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the stories shared, the laughter echoed, and the lives he touched.
