Patrick Armellino

On Wednesday, November 28, 2018, Patrick Louis Armellino, Adored father of two children and loving fiancé and stepfather, passed away at the age of 58. Patrick was born on September 2, 1960 in Ozone Park, NY to Edward and Maryann (Greco) Armellino. He had three siblings and twenty-six first cousins. He raised two children, Edward and Reanna. He was engaged to Dawn Varrecchia. Patrick touched many lives in his time as a hockey and baseball coach, truck driver, friend, and father. Patrick had a strong passion for sports, specifically hockey, and he loved the New York Rangers, New York Giants, and New York Mets. He adored animals, and had a passion for nature. He was extremely passionate about family, and kept heirlooms and pictures with sentimental value. He loved the United States, and was extremely proud of his service and country. He was known for his quirks and mannerisms, his stories, and his charismatic personality. Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Edward, and his mother, Maryann. He is survived by his children, Edward and Reanna, his fiancée, Dawn, and her daughter, Danielle, as well as his brother, Edward, Jr., sister Jennifer, sister Ann, nephew's Edward III and Nicholas, nieces Erin and Laura,and several cousins, aunts,and uncles. A viewing and funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Towers Funeral Home located at 2681 Long Beach Rd Oceanside, NY 11572 from 1-3 p.m and 5-8 p.m, with services beginning at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Patrick would have liked a donation to a charity of one of his favorite causes, Wounded Warriors.
