Patrick Charles Valenti September 15, 1937 - December 17, 2023

Pat Valenti was born in New York City to Jenny and Charles Valenti. A Renaissance man, Pat was brilliant and artistic. He was a physics major with a quirky sense of humor, a passion for social justice issues, British detective shows, and Burger King. More than anything else, Pat was a devoted family man.

Pat was the Valedictorian of his high school graduating class. He was a ROTC graduate of The College of the Holy Cross, where he was the illustrator of the literary magazine. He served as a Naval Officer and had a career that spanned the Polaris Project, Grumman Aerospace, and Grumman Data Systems. In retirement, Pat served as President of the local chapter of The St Vincent DePaul Society.

Pat's close-knit family will miss his love and kindness but will forever remember the example he set for them. He is survived by his beloved wife Mary, daughters Angela and Michele, sons in law Steven and Vince, grandchildren Jack, Sam, Otto, and Grace, and his brother Alfred, sister in law, JoAnn and their children.

A funeral mass will be held at 11AM on Thursday, December 21st at St Anthony's RC Church, 110 Anchor Ave, Oceanside, NY. Entombment of cremains will be in St Johns Cemetery, Middle Village on Thursday, December 21st at 12:30PM.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, December 20th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Towers Funeral Home Inc., 2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY.
