Paul Raymond Wigand

Paul Raymond Wigand of Oceanside, NY peacefully passed on Saturday, October 17, 2020 surrounded by his wife

and children. He was born on September 2, 1952 to the late Paul and Maryann Wigand. In addition to his parents,

he is preceded in death by two siblings Jeanne Burnside and Marianne Volpe.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years Diane Lynn Wigand. In addition to his wife, he is survived by

sons Brien Wigand, Eric Wigand (fiancé Samantha) and daughter Allison Wigand; also, his beloved pet dog Zoie. He

is survived by siblings Lucille Curley (John), Tim Wigand (Mariette), Chris Wigand (Marybeth), Cathy Cleland

(Josh), Amy Airey (Tom), and Diane Olmsted (Steve). Also, his brother-in-law Edward Marek. Finally, many nieces

and nephews that looked up to him.

He had a long and successful career as Director of Operations at William H. Kopke Jr., Inc., an import/export

company in Great Neck, NY. He was dedicated to his job for over 43 years and was honored and received the

Albert S. Marulli “Lifetime Achievement” Award in 2018 from the Chilean & American Chamber of Commerce of

Greater Philadelphia.

He was a volunteer for many years at Ocean Financial Federal Credit Union where he most recently held the

position of Chairman.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday from 12-3 and 6-9PM.

Funeral Mass, Thursday, 10:45AM at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Oceanside
