Paul Richard Malkiewicz

Paul Richard Malkiewicz, of Holbrook, NY, passed away on Monday, 11/27/2023. His son, John, and daughter-in-law, Marie, were by his side as he peacefully took his final breath.

Paul is survived by Rose, his wife of sixty years, two children (Lori and John), and John’s family (wife Marie and children Madison and Matthew). He leaves behind one  sister (Maryann), a “brother” (Joseph), and a large extended family including Anna, Bob, Joann, Ron, Sal, and Bobbi.

Paul was born to John and Lillian on July 7, 1938. He spent most of his childhood in Throgs Neck, attending St. Francis de Chantal. He later moved to Long Island and graduated from Bethpage High School in 1957. Paul entered the Air Force two months later and was honorably discharged in August of 1963. After twenty-five years with General Motors, Paul retired and realized he had a passion for golf. He took every opportunity to play with both family and friends.

Paul was an extremely dedicated husband, father, and friend who never hesitated to assist others. He was a devout Catholic and faithful parishioner at Good Shepherd Church in Holbrook. He derived pleasure from the simple things in life, such as enjoying traditional Polish foods, listening to Andrea Bocelli, and taking drives to the beach with his wife, Rose. Paul cherished time with his loving family and long-time friends. He will be sorely missed by all.
