Pauline Commander

Pauline Commander (nee Coronges), 94, of Mineola passed peacefully on November 19, 2016. Predeceased by her husband Constantine, she is the loving mother of George (Virginia), Joanna (Rosemarie) and Corie. She was a devoted yiayia to David and Lisa, and the cherished great grandmother to Derek, Michael, Mallory and Ryan. Pauline will be reposing at Fairchild Sons, 1201 Franklin Ave. Garden City, on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9PM. There will be a funeral service at The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St. Pauls, 110 Cathedral Ave. Hempstead, on Tuesday at 10:30AM. The interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
