Peter Adamakos

Peter J. Adamakos, 93, passed away on July 16th at his home in Valley Stream, New York. Peter was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and neighbor.

He is predeceased by the love of his life and wife, Angelica, and is survived by his son Harry (Ann), his daughter Anne (Joe), and his four grandchildren, Peter, Tasia, Jill, and Angie.

Peter was best known for his work and leadership in restaurants, such as the Nightcap, the Merrick Marlin, and the Surfside restaurant before retiring in 1997. He spent his retirement volunteering at his church, playing with his grandkids, and tending to his beautiful garden.

He will be remembered for his kindness, his sense of humor, and his unmatched appetite (for life!). Peter Adamakos will be missed greatly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May his memory be eternal. We love you forever!
