Peter G. Lantzounis

Peter G. Lantzounis, age 98, of Franklin Square, NY died Sunday, December 18, 2016 at his home. Mr. Lantzounis was born in New York, NY and was the husband of the late Annie. He is survived by his daughters, Julie Raptakis of Franklin Square, Maria Senior of Nesconset, NY and many loving and dear grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. He served in the Army during World War II from 1942 to 1945. He was the proud owner of the Gold Food Shop in the Bronx, NY. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 21st, at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St. Paul, 110 Cathedral Ave, Hempstead, NY. The burial will take place at Pinelawn Memorial Park, in Pinelawn, NY, following the funeral service. The family will receive relatives and friends wishing to pay their respects on Tuesday, December 20th from 2pm to 4 pm and again from 7pm to 9pm at Towers Funeral Home.
