Ralph L Massetti

Ralph L. Massetti of Oceanside, formerly of Merrick, passed away on April 18, 2018, in his 95th year surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of the late Shirley Massetti. He is survived by his four children, Lorraine (Jerry), John, Kenneth (Mary) and Michael. Cherished Grandfather of Adriane, Kristen, Daniel, Kyle, Michael, Samantha, Andrew, Christopher and Travis. Predeceased by his brothers John and Harold and his sister Geraldine.

Ralph was a WWII Veteran who like so many of his generation came home from the war to start a family. Settling in Merrick, he spent the majority of his working years in the Insurance business working for Prudential and later the NY State Insurance Fund. His greatest gifts were his grandchildren whom he adored and spending time with his family and many friends. When his wife Shirley was stricken with Alzheimer's, he was her primary caregiver for many years. His warm smile, big heart, generous hugs and kisses will be missed by everyone.
