Robert A. De Phillips

Robert A. De Phillips, age 76, of Oceanside, NY died peacefully, on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at home in Oceanside. Mr. De Phillips was born in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Alfred and the late Elizabeth (nee Matiello) De Phillips. He served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1960, and completed his reserve obligation in 1964. He was a dedicated fireman and ex-captain with the Oceanside Fire Department and belonged to the Local 28 Sheet Metal Workers Union. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret (nee Sullivan), one daughter Dawn and son Robert. The Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 am, on Monday, November 7th, at St. Anthony's RC Church, 110 Anchor Ave, Oceanside, NY. The burial will be at Holy Rood Cemetery, in Westbury,NY immediately following the mass.

The family will receive family and friends wishing to pay their respects on Sunday, November 6th, from 2pm - 4pm & 7pm - 9pm at Towers Funeral Home.
