Robert F Bickard
Robert F Bickard, age 69, of Oceanside, NY died Sunday, August 13, 2017 at his home in Oceanside. Mr. Bickard was born in Oceanside, NY. He is the son of the late Frank W and the late Virginia (Kirk) Bickard. He devoted over 50 years of service as a volunteer fireman with the Oceanside Fire Department, and was a proud United States Navy veteran. We thank him for his community and military service. He is survived by his two sons, Richard and Frank. The Funeral Mass will be held at 9:45am on Friday, August 18th at St Anthony's RC Church, 110 Anchor Ave, Oceanside, NY. The burial with military honors will immediately follow the mass and be at Greenfield Cemetery, The family will receive relatives and friends wishing to pay their respects on Wednesday and Thursday, August 16th and 17th from 2pm to 4pm and again from 7pm to 9pm at Towers Funeral Home, Inc.
