Robert Sbarra

Robert Richard Sbarra, born on Oct 4, 1945, went home to be with the Lord on Aug 29, 2020. He valiantly battled but ultimately succumbed to Parkinsons. He passed peacefully in the loving presence of his wife, children, and grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his grandmother Elizabeth, mother Gloria, and uncle Samuel. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nery, sons Timothy and Andrew, daughter Rebecca, and his grandkids Luke Nicholas, Jake, Rachel, Diana, Sadie and Caleb.


He graduated from Hunter College with a degree in Psychology, and later got his Masters Degree in Computing which led to a 40+ year career as a computer programmer for Ulman, Scan Oil, and Personal Touch. During that time he also served as an Elder of his church. His beloved hobbies were Broadway plays, Lionel trains, and photography.


His legacy is on display for the world to see in the lives of his kids and grandkids whose lives he helped mold and guide with God as the center of their lives.
