Ruben Latorre

Ruben Latorre, 88, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and dedication to family. Born on November 6, 1937, in Orocovis, Puerto Rico, Ruben lived a life defined by hard work, perseverance, and deep devotion to those he loved.

Ruben was predeceased by his beloved wife, Maria (Miriam), who passed in 2016. Together, they built a strong and loving family that stands as a testament to their enduring bond.

He is survived by his loving children: daughter Michele and her husband Chris; daughter Doreen and her husband Louie; and his son Ruben Jr. and his wife Christie. Ruben was a proud and devoted grandfather to Demetra, Alexander, Emanuel, Ariana, James, Marissa, Louie Jr., Christian, Matthew, Madison, Samantha, Jordan, and Dylan, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride.

A devoted Catholic, Ruben’s faith was a guiding force throughout his life. He was a man who found happiness in the simple pleasures—he had a passion for cars, a fascination with electronics and gadgets, and a natural curiosity that kept him engaged with the world around him.

Ruben was also a pioneer entrepreneur and accomplished businessman whose success spanned over 60 years. Through determination, vision, and tireless work, he built a life that provided not only stability but opportunity for his family. His work ethic and commitment were an inspiration to all who knew him.

Above all, Ruben will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, and an exceptional grandfather. His legacy lives on through the family he cherished and the values he instilled in them.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
