Sera T. Kaufman

Beloved mother, wife, mother in law, friend. She was born in Long Beach NY 12/26/1930 to Michael (Mike the Barber) and Olinda Cotone, and grew up in Long Beach, loving the beach and the ocean. She married the love of her life, Stephen Kaufman, in 1950, built their home in Baldwin Harbor, and were married for 67 years. She created a warm and loving home full of friends, family and pets, and loved their ski home in Manchester VT, and their many boats. She engaged with people everywhere she went, and will be long remembered for her warmth and good humor. She is survived by her daughter Karen Zelinski and beloved son in law Robert Zelinski, her granddaughter Elizabeth Leonard, her son Keith Kaufman and his wife Donna, sister in law Judith Steinberg, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
