Smaragda Kourtis
Smaragda Kourtis, age 88, of Dix Hills, NY, died Thursday, July 16, 2015 in Huntington, NY. Mrs. Kourtis was born in Athens, Greece. She is the daughter of the late Ioannis and Argyro Karavas.
She leaves behind one daughter, Mary Kourtis-Petrakis, two sons Stephanos and Panagiotis Kourtis and many loving grandchildren and extended family members.
The funeral will be held 11:30 am on Tuesday, July 21st at The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St. Paul, 110 Cathedral Ave, Hempstead, NY. The burial is immediately following the service and will be at the Breslau Cemetery in Lindenhurst, NY at approximately 1:30 pm.
Visiting will be Monday, July 20th from 2pm to 4pm and again from 7pm to 9pm
