It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas William Smith Jr., who departed this life on Saturday, February 21, 2026. A resident of Cedarhurst, NY, Thomas was born on Tuesday, November 1, 1960, in Far Rockaway, NY.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Towers Funeral Home, Inc., located in Oceanside, NY. Visitation services will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and again from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Tom's memory.
