Vassilios Papadopoulos

Vasilios Papadopoulos passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020, at the age of 80. A long time resident of Oceanside, NY, he was born in the town of Kariotissa, prefecture of Pella, Northern Greece. He was a master iron-works craftsman who brought his talent to the United States in 1978, emigrating with his two sons and beloved wife Souzana (recently deceased in June 2020). He is survived by his sons Tasos and George, daughter-in-law Theodora, and three grandsons, Vasilis, Efthimios, and Dimitris. A great father and role model, he was a hard worker that enjoyed the simple things in life with family and friends.
