Vincent T. Schellhorn

Vinny (Horn) Schellhorn died peacefully surrounded by his immediate family January 15, 2012. He is survived by his 4 children; Helen, Vincent, Peter and Willie and is the beloved "Pop-Pops" of Aydan and Aubri. He is also the loved brother of Betty Ann and cherished "Uncy" of Bobby and Tommy and a lifelong best friend of Paul Finneran. He served with Honor in the Navy from 1975 to 1978.

Vinny had a passion for sports which he played from Little League through to his adult years. He played varsity basketball at Holy Cross High School and had a pitching scholarship for Temple University. When he returned from the service he continued to play on teams with the Boys Club and at his home court at Jackson Pond on Monday nights for many years as his children looked on.

Vinny coached his children's teams, umpired, refereed games and was an avid spectator always bringing to the conversation a knowledgeable understanding of the game.
