William Kruska

William "Billy" J. Kruska 70 Years old of Merrick NY passed away on April 28, 2023.

Billy was surrounded by family at his time of passing.

A gathering will be held at Towers Funeral home on June 10th from 2pm-4pm.

Billy was born in Flushing NY on June 8,1952. He attended Calhoun High School in North

Merrick NY. Billy was happiest singing, songwriting and playing his guitars. Friends loved

joining him for karaoke nights at all the local spots in Merrick and East Meadow. As a cook he

enjoyed creating new ideas and everyone loved "Billy's Burritos”. You'd see Billy riding his

bike around town and always smiling, happy to share a beer and a hug with you.

Billy is survived by daughter Heather Kruska and grandson Adrian River May, brothers Bobby, Gilbert, Jeffrey, Tommy and Allen, sisters Joanie, Penny, Betty, and Gina, nieces Jill, Jadyn, Sarah, Sara and Sienna, and nephews Tony, Michael, Richard, and Robert.

He is preceded by his mother Sarah Amelia Kruska and Son Taylor James, named after musician James Taylor :) , and nephew Jonathan.
