In Loving Memory of Xavier Michel Ceniceros

With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden and heartbreaking passing of Xavier Michel Ceniceros, a beloved father, friend, surfer, and cornerstone of the Long Beach community. Xavier passed away in his sleep on April 12, 2025, at the age of 66.

Known to many as “Mr. Aloha,” “The Big Kahuna,” and “Master of Disguise,” Xavier embodied warmth, wisdom, and generosity like no other. A lifelong surfer with a deep connection to the ocean and those around him, he had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel seen, heard, and valued. He gave freely, loved deeply, and left behind a legacy of kindness that will never be forgotten.

Xavier was the devoted father of four amazing children who were the center of his world. He worked tirelessly to provide for them and guided them with strength, humor, and endless love. As a federal retiree who recently concluded a long career with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, he had just entered a new chapter of life — one that was tragically cut short.

He was not only a father, but a friend, mentor, and protector to many. Whether you knew him through the waves, his community ties, or simply by his ever-present smile, you were touched by his spirit.
